Ingredients


  • 350g chicken boneless cubes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 tsp or to taste salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 1-2 tsp water
  • 1 & 1/2 chopped garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 tsp cooking oil
  • 3 cup sifted all purpose flour
  • 1 & 1/2 salt
  • 2 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 cup water or as required


 Instructions 


  • Add chicken, onion, salt, crushed black pepper, soy sauce, corn flour, and chop well in a food processor.
  • Chop one more after adding water.
  • Transfer to a bowl, stir in the cooking oil, green onion, and garlic, and set aside.
  • Add the salt and all-purpose flour to a bowl and stir thoroughly.
  • When it crumbles, add the frying oil and stir thoroughly.
  • Once a firm dough forms, gradually add water and knead the dough. Cover and let it rest for fifteen minutes.
  • Rework the dough until it is smooth, wrap it in clingfilm, and set aside for ten minutes.Repeat kneading the dough and divide into four equal portions.Take one portion, spread it out with a rolling pin, cut it into a round shape using a 3-inch cutter, and wrap it in a kitchen towel.
  • One little rolled dough ball should be taken, sprinkled with dry flour, and rolled out as thinly as possible with a rolling pin. Then, the filling should be chicken mince, the sides should be brought together with water, pressed, and sealed to form a momo.
  • With the remaining rolled dough, repeat the process (makes 24–25).
  • Add water to the steam pot, set the steam rack on it, cover it, and bring it to a boil. Then, add the prepared momos and coat the steam rack with cooking oil.
  • For 12 to 15 minutes, cook on medium heat with a cover on.
  • Accompany with spicy chili sauce and soy sauce.
