  • Paneer - 500 grams
  • Tomatoes – 5 large
  • Green Chili – 2
  • Ginger - a long piece
  • Ghee – 2 teaspoons
  • Cumin – half teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Red Chili – 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander – a little
  • Cashews - few
  • Milk or cream - half a cup
  • Garam masala – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste

1. To make Shahi Paneer at home, first cut the cheese into small pieces, then take any pan at home, heat it a little, add a teaspoon of oil and the chopped cheese in it. Add and fry well and take out.

2. Wash the cashew well and soak it and when it is soaked, take it out and grind it finely and take it out in a bowl.

3. After that, add tomato, ginger, green chilies to all these mixtures and make a paste. Take out the paste and put it in a pot and beat the cream well in the mixture and take it out.

4. Take a pan and heat it by adding ghee or whatever oil you have at home. Add cumin seeds to the hot ghee. When the cumin seeds turn a little brown, add turmeric powder and a little coriander powder and fry them in this spice. Add the tomato paste you made and stir with a spoon until a little oil separates.

5. After roasting, add the prepared cashew paste and cream and stir the spices with a spoon until the oil is coated on the spices. Add water to this spice as needed to make the gravy thick or thin, add salt and red pepper to your liking and mix.

When the gravy starts to boil, add the fried pieces of paneer and mix it, cover it and let the vegetable cook on low flame for about three to four minutes so that all the spices inside the paneer are well absorbed. Absorb well. Shahi paneer recipe is ready, turn off the gas, put some coriander in it, finely cut its leaves and spread it on top and add little hot spices for taste.

Now take out the prepared Shahi Paneer in a beautiful bowl and enjoy it with your family.
