Ingredients

  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chili paste 1 tsp
  • Papaya paste 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Crushed paper 1 tsp
  • Chat masala 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Orange food powder 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Oil 6 tsp
  • 2 leg and thigh chicken pieces


Instructions


  • First of all, we will take a bowl and add half a cup of yogurt. Then we will add one spoon of ginger, garlic, papaya and green chili paste. If you do not have papaya paste, you can also mix tender powder in it. Now we have to add our spices which includes one spoon of Kashmiri red Chili and coriander powder which is chili chat masala, cumin powder and name as per taste. And apart from this, one and a half spoon of garam masala is added to the fourth part of the spoon. The fourth part of the spoon is yellow in color but it is optional here if you want to not add it. Take two tea spoons of fresh lemon juice, four tea spoons of oil and mix it well.
  • Take two Leg and two Thigh pieces of chicken. Add some cuts into chicken pieces and marinate it. Mix the spices well so that the spices get mixed well after mixing. Now keep it for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Now we will take a frying pan and when it starts to heat gently, we will put our marinated chicken on the stove which is on high flame, we will cook it after 5 to 10 minutes of cooking chicken releases the oil and then you turn it. Now we will turn off the flame of the stove and cover it for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • After about 7 minutes we have to open the lid and after that as much moisture as it will be used up till then you have to take a piece of coal, keep it on the stove and use it to heat it properly till it is dry. The color may not be red.
  • Now lightly grease the cooked chicken with spices. And turn the pieces again so that the spices applied get cooked properly. After cooking for about 4 minutes, our chicken is completely ready.
  • Now we will take a piece of aluminum paper and put it on the coal which we had heated and then pour oil on it and then put it on the fry pan.
  • If you want, you can apply oil on it while fasting, due to which the chicken will get a glossy shine.
